The closing ceremony, held in the Mauritanian capital of Nouakchott, was attended by Grand Mufti of Mauritania Sheikh Ahmed Ould Murabit, Mauritanian officials, and Arab and Muslim diplomatic figures.
In a recorded speech, Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Sheikh Abdullatif Al-Sheikh expressed gratitude to Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani for hosting the competition.
Al-Raqabi emphasized the competition's role in promoting the memorization and recitation of the Quran and Sunnah throughout the Islamic world.
This competition was organized by the Mauritanian Ministry of Islamic Affairs, with the support and supervision of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance.

It featured 136 participants from 16 countries competing in two main categories: Quran memorization and the memorization of the Prophet's Hadiths.
Five judges assessed the competitors in the Quran category, while another panel of five experts specializing in Hadith evaluated the participants in the Sunnah section.
